Indio Wilde Gard

Born February 8, 2014. 6 lbs 8 oz and 19 1/2 inches long. Purely perfect from head to toe.

Timeline to baby

3.2012 We decide to start adopting baby #2!

4.2012 We start applying to agencies for home study update

6.2012 We get an agency

7.2012 We find out I'm pregnant with Stone, but continue our adoption

9.2012 We apply with CAC

10.24.12 Our last social worker visit

01.31.13 Our updated Home study is in our hands!

02.21.13 We get an email about a baby boy and ask to be submitted

02.26.13 At 11:56am I get the call. We've been matched!

03.04.13 Paperwork is submitted to agency.

05.2013 Our match falls through.

09.2013 We get matched again with a baby boy, due in February in Tallahassee,Florida.

01.13.2014 We find out birth mom is getting induced on the 23!

01.22.2014 Due date is pushed back to February 13.

02.07.2014 We get the call that BM is headed to hospital! We drive to Arizona.

02.08.2014 We fly from Arizona to Texas to Jacksonville, Florida, and then rent a car and drive to Tallahassee. Baby boy is born an hour after we arrive at 9:55pm. Our social worker tells us "he was waiting for us" and I like to think he was too.

02.09.2014 Change of plans. Bm wants to spend the day with Tiny, but wants me to know she has no plans on changing her mind and decides to have me come hold him and meet her. He is perfect and she is wonderful.

02.10.2014 We get the call from Deanna 11:25am . She says "you ready? it's time to go get your baby." and I run out of the store to find Ryan. Papers are signed, bm hands tiny to me and we all cry. At 6pm he is released from the hospital.
